Representative Business Matters

• Draft and negotiate corporate, partnership and joint venture documents and agreements related to real estate development and other business endeavors;
• Represent business clients in workouts, corporate dissolution, and negotiations with creditors including forbearance agreements and other strategies in efforts to avoid adverse action by creditors;
• Negotiated $20 Million Naming Rights Agreement for South Florida Sports Arena;
• Represented national hockey league franchise in negotiating business and marketing contracts, including radio, television, internet, promotional, sponsorship, marketing, employment and operational agreements;
• Negotiated and drafted public/private partnership agreements between local governments, public university, and professional sports franchises for the development and financing of large public facility and infrastructure projects, including the RBC Center, Carolina Mudcats Stadium, and “TECO” arena;
• Negotiated and drafted public/private partnership agreements between local municipal government, prominent childrens’ museum, and real estate developer and management company involving property assemblage and the development and financing of construction of museum, local government offices, and future retail and office uses;
• Represent professional and trade licensees before occupational licensing boards and regulatory agencies;
• Worked with cell tower companies relative to locating wireless telephone facilities, securing regulatory approval, coordinating governmental relations, site acquisition, title, leasing, negotiations, and litigation;
• Represent developers in securing environmental permits to cross streams and impact riparian buffers and wetlands necessary for residential and commercial construction;
• Represented association of telephone membership corporations in wake of enactment of new telecommunications laws and advised regarding impact on business and regulatory issues.
